Ucuzoglu, a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Los Angeles, has been named a professional accounting fellow by the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant. During his two-year term, which begins in June, Ucuzoglu will study and develop rule proposals under the federal securities laws; serve as a liaison with the professional accounting and auditing standards-setting bodies; and consult with registrants on accounting and reporting matters.
