License Fees Increased - Brief Article - Statistical Data Included

California CPA, July, 2000

The California Board of Accountancy's reserve funds have been reduced to the level mandated by state law. As a result, the biennial renewal fee for an individual, partnership or corporation license increased from $50 to $200, effective July 1. The restoration of this fee amount is necessary to support the CBA's existing consumer protection programs.
