The National Taxpayer Advocate's Report to Congress for Fiscal Year 2004, is available.
The report, by Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olsen, identifies several projects for the coming year and includes small-business issues, electronic filing and financial literacy.
For fiscal year 2003, the advocate worked with the IRS on initiatives such as earned income tax credit certification; offers-in-compromise; and individual taxpayer identification numbers.
