Nominate Calcpa Officers And Directors—Soon - California Society of Certified Public Accountants - Brief Article

California CPA, Oct, 2001

Even those with the greatest leadership potential sometimes need a nudge to the fore, especially when it comes to assuming a formal role.

Do you know a member who would excel as a CalCPA officer or director-at-large? Help shape CalCPA's next group of leaders by nominating a member for the job. Or contact members whom you feel are potential leaders and encourage them to submit a nominations form.

If you are interested in a leadership role, self-nomination is the most effective way to advise us of your interest. We want to know if you are interested in leading CalCPA and the profession into the future--just complete and submit a nominations form.

CalCPA's Committee on Nomination and Leadership Development will accept nominations and biographies until Nov. 12 for 2002-03 officers and directors-at-large. Officer positions include chair, first vice-chair, treasurer and four vice chairs. There also are four director-at-large positions. Members may apply for more than one office and will only be considered for the offices for which they apply.
