When you call CalCPA's Accounting & Auditing Answerline, (800) 922-5272, ext. 2355, you will be greeted by a new friendly voice: that of seasoned CPA Arthur Korn.
Korn is CalCPA's new director of technical member services and is the new voice of the A&A Answerline.
Korn was partner-in-charge of the audit and accounting department of Moss Adams, San Francisco.
He replaces Cathy Mathews, who had answered the helpline since 1998. She stepped down from the position in August to spend more time with her family.
"We will miss Cathy," says Linda McCrone, director of technical services. "She provided members with timely, informative responses to their questions and was a valuable addition to CalCPA's team.
