Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedNo Phase Ii Contract - Shared Services L.L.C - Brief Article
California CPA, Nov, 2001
The Shared Services LLC did not deliver the Phase II contract as promised in early September. Already behind schedule, the contract's preparation fell further behind following the Sept. 11 tragedies.
Clarke Price, CEO of the Ohio Society and SSLLC chair, informed state society executives in early October that the contract was being revamped and would likely be a three-year contract, not a 10-year contract with 10 automatic renewals at 10 years each, as originally designed. An overview of the contract was slated to be presented at the AICPA Council meeting in late October.
CalCPA, along with six other state societies, including New York, Illinois, Texas and North Carolina have retained legal counsel to review any proposed contract for antitrust issues.
