California beats Florida as state where most people want to live - Survey Says - Harris Poll - Brief Article

California CPA, Nov, 2002

Could it be the problems with those darn voting machines?

According to a recent Harris Poll asking Americans which state they would choose to live in, not including where they live now, California came out as the most popular destination.

The Golden State ended Florida's fiveyear reign atop the list.

Florida was bumped to the No. 2 slot, followed by Hawaii, Colorado, North Carolina, Arizona, Tennessee, New York, Washington and Oregon.

The results are from a nationwide telephone survey in July of 1,010 adults.
