Susan Waters is resigning her position as CalCPA CEO effective Nov 4. In leaving, she noted that when she joined CalCPA, the search committee had provided her with the following goals: to bring financial stability to the organization, create a culture of member service and increase trust in the organization; noting that she had accomplished these goals, she announced that it is time for her to move on. We wish her the best.
"We look forward to finding a new CEO as soon as possible," says D. Paul Regan, CPA, chair of the California Society of CPAs' Board of Directors. "However, the board's primary goal is to find the right individual to lead the California Society of CPAs into the future.
