VA Will Reimburse CPA Exam Cost - Free Stuff - United States. Department of Veterans Affairs

As part of its veteran education benefits program, the U.S. Veterans Administration will reimburse eligible individuals for the cost of the Uniform CPA Exam.

Veterans or those on active duty can apply by downloading VA Form 22-1990. Eligible children or spouses can download VA Form 22-5490 from www.gibill.va.gov to apply for the credit.

To apply for reimbursement, send a copy of your test results with a letter requesting reimbursement. The letter should include your name and Social Security number, the name and date of the test, the name and address of the organization issuing the license or certificate (i.e.,California Board of Accountancy), and the cost of the test. The letter also should contain the statement, "I authorize release of my test information to VA."
