Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedIt's open enrollment time: ProtectPlus and Delta Dental - Group Insurance Trust - Brief Article
California CPA, Dec, 2002
December means it's time to examine your insurance plan options and determine if you want to make changes. Or for those of you without a plan, now is your chance to enter one.
Eligible member firms may enroll in ProtectPlus and receive 2002 rates, effective Jan. 1, for the first six months of 2003.
Also, firms already participating in ProtectPlus may make changes. Firms can change plans, add or delete domestic partner coverage or change the firm's probationary period (the time that new hires must wait until their benefits begin). And, because firms may offer two ProtectPlus plans, firms with two or more people in the firm may add an additional plan at this time.

This year, firms have a rare opportunity to enroll in Delta Dental. An open enrollment period for Delta Dental is not frequently offered so this is good news for firms looking for dental coverage.
