Camico now approved to do business in 36 states - Insurance Update - Brief Article

California CPA, Jan-Feb, 2002

CAMICO's professional liability and risk management program for CPAs is now licensed to do business in five more states--Texas, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and North Carolina. The company is now approved to write professional liability insurance for CPAs in a total of 36 states.

CAMICO is sponsored by state CPA societies in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New York and Washington.

"Working with state CPA societies and associations across the country, we have been able to build a program that stays closely in step with changes in the profession," says CAMICO President John A. Dodsworth, CPA. "Part of our original mission was to form a mutual insurance company, owned by and for CPAs, to ensure that our member-owners had access to excellent coverage at reasonable, stable rates. As we have expanded, that mission has not changed."
