IRS, FTB, EDD and BOE answer your questions - CalCPA News - Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department, Board of Equalization - Brief Article

California CPA, March, 2002

Have a gnawing question you'd like the IRS or FTB to answer? Ask away!

The Committee on Taxation is accepting questions for its fall 2002 tax liaison meetings. In addition to IRS and FTB tax-related questions, you also may pose questions to the EDD and Board of Equalization.

Whether your question deals with paying California corporate tax for a liquidated multistate entity or why the IRS sent a notice to your client requesting delinquent taxes and penalties from 1915, you can expect a detailed response.

To obtain a 2002 tax liaison meeting agenda topic form or the questions and answers from the 2001 liaison meetings, go to www.calcpa.org/californiacpa/newstrends/2002/taxliaison.html.>
