The Preconference, 3-day Symposium, and new Postconference have been planned for nurses practicing in all arenas concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of renal disease. Whether this is your first meeting or your 32nd, the content is designed to cover the full spectrum of learning levels. We do not designate learning levels for each session, as we cannot determine your practice challenges and interests. Instead, it is designed so you can tailor your own "program." Content is carefully planned based on suggestions from evaluations, conversations in the ANNAForum, the literature, and documented practice challenges.
The goals for the meeting are to:
* Explore practice challenges the nephrology nurse will face in an evolving health care environment.
* Formulate strategies to meet the challenges of patient care with changing resources and delivery systems.
* Create a collegial environment conducive to sharing knowledge, expertise, and experience.
Read this brochure carefully, and then check the sessions you are likely to attend on the registration form on page 18. These numbers are used to determine room size. Remember the pre and post conferences require separate registration fees. Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing resorts and airline reservations should be made 60 days in advance.

Reception and Discussion for New Members, Non-Members, and First Time Attendees
If you are attending your first ANNA meeting, you are a new member, or a non-member, this session is for you. "First timers" may be confused reading the program book, choosing sessions, or getting around. We want this to be a positive experience, so come and join us whenever you arrive. We will discuss the goals and values of ANNA and how these are used to develop the program and determine the direction of the association. It would be helpful to have your registration materials for the session, but they are not necessary. The exact location will be in the confirmation letter.
