Huawei Contracted to Supply DWDM Equipment to Heilongjiang Unicom - dense wavelength division multiplexing - Brief Article

According to a long-term development plan, the Heilongjiang Branch of the China Unicom decided to adopt internationally advanced DWDM technology in the construction of a high-capacity reliable transmission network.

It will use 80G DWDM and enhanced 2.5G SDH systems from Huawei to construct the trunk line extending across 13 prefecture-level cities in the province.

Once operational, it will speed up the development of Unicorn's large-capacity and broadband network in Heilongjiang province. Also, it will lay networks to provide comprehensive and quality service to users in the province.
