Wherehouse Music has selected Frontera to implement and host BEA's WebLogic Application server for its on-line music site.

Frontera is an application service provider that hosts, delivers, and manages premier customerfacing platforms and applications.

Frontera will deploy, host, and manage BEA's suite of Campaign Manager, Commerce and Personalization Servers for Wherehouse Music. Wherehouse owns and operates 414 retail stores in 24 states and sells prerecorded music, videocassettes, DVDs, video games, and accessories.

As part of the agreement, Frontera will implement BEA's software and develop an integrated suite of e-business applications for Wherehouse. When the service goes live in November 2001, Wherehouse will be able to perform an ever-increasing number of highly personalized on-line transactions.
