E-Procurement could save trillions - Market Intelligence - Brief Article

According to a report by Aberdeen Group, global companies could save on aggregate $2.3 trillion per year by using the net to purchase supplies and services or e-procurement. The research found that in 2001, eight percent to 10 percent of the largest 5,000 companies use e-procurement software, and by 2003 the figure could reach 80 percent to 90 percent.
