Build a Professional Business Web Site in One Day with Network Telephone eSite Tools - Brief Article - Product Announcement

Information Superhighways Newsletter, March, 2001

Network Telephone Corp., a broadband telecommunications provider for business, announced the addition of customizable, professional Web sites and e-stores to its menu of next generation services.

Dubbed "eSites," the new service allows businesses to enter the worldwide marketplace quickly and affordably, while taking advantage of Network Telephone's other communications services including DSL high-speed Internet access and local and long-distance voice and Web applications.

Network Telephone makes it easy and fast for customers to create and maintain their site. Three levels of eSite capability are available to choose from, depending on the business' needs. Business eSites function as a basic display showroom for products and services, while Executive and Commerce eSite packages include shopping carts and credit card transaction capabilities.

Prior to building their eSite, the Network Telephone customer is set up with e-mail addresses and a domain name for their Web site. Once a domain name is established, the subscriber visits Network Telephone's administration pages while talking with a Network Telephone "Move In" representative on the telephone. With no HTML or design experience, the customer is easily and quickly able to select from 54 industry-specific content packages, 22 page types, and innumerable color and layout combinations, to build a professional, commerce-enabled Web site in a matter of hours. After the site is completed, the owner may upgrade or change any component of the site from any desktop. Network Telephone provides ongoing, customer support, e-business marketing tips, and product enhancements.
