Beyond.com Announces New e-Store Deal with Sybex Inc - Brief Article

Beyond.com announced that it has entered into an agreement to design, build, and manage an on-line store (e-store) for Sybex Inx. an independent computer book publisher.

The e-store, launched on July 5, 2001, features a unique subscription-based model that allows Sybex customers access to certification-related Web-based training and testing services. The e-store will also feature physical product distribution for traditional on-line purchases.

"The Sybex e-store adds yet another business category to our expanding portfolio of e-store clients," said Ron Hulse, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Beyond.com. "This agreement further demonstrates Beyond.com's ability to provide unique, customized e-store features and functionality for a wide variety of businesses that sell their products on-line."
