Wireless Cable and Internet Provider Upgrading to ADC's Carrier Class Architecture in Sioux City, Iowa - Evertek Enterprises to use ADC Broadband Communications Div.'s Axity system - Brief Article

ADC, a supplier of network equipment, software, and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, announced that Evertek Enterprises, an Internet service provider in Sioux City, IA, will upgrade its current two-way Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (MMDS) system with ADC's Axity broadband wireless access system.
Evertek provides cable and wireless television, wireless Internet and local telephone services to its customers in northwest Iowa. The Axity solution is expandable to allow Evertek to supply high-speed wireless data services to the entire Sioux City population of 82,000 as needed.

"We have 100 percent customer retention with ADC's first generation system and believe that its carrier-class, standards-based system will allow us to provide expanded and better quality services to a wider subscriber base."
Axity is a carrier-class solution that enables providers to deliver two-way high-speed voice and data over the MMDS spectrum. Leveraging experience in MMDS radio frequency (RF) technology design and manufacture and its broad range of standards-compliant hardware and software, ADC provides an end-to-end solution for MMDS deployment, including complete network planning, design, and integration services.
