HostPro Expands National DSL Services Through Private Label Agreement with Zyan - Brief Article

Zyan Communications has reached an agreement with HostPro, the Web and application hosting subsidiary of Micron Electronics, to deliver Zyan's digital subscriber line product throughout the US, under the HostPro brand. Zyan Communications is a national broadband services company specializing in providing network-based IP services for the business market.

Zyan's private label partnership expands HostPro's national reach by bolstering HostPro's ability to offer DSL services in consumer markets served by such Zyan partners as Covad and NorthPoint Communications.

"Our agreement with HostPro further strengthens our leadership position in DSL installation and provisioning services for Private Label partners," said Crosby Haffner, president and COO of Zyan Communications. "HostPro will benefit from our preferred partner status with Covad and NorthPoint, as well as our on-line management tools, which include determining line speed availability, ordering service, obtaining status details, and issuing trouble tickets more quickly and cost-effectively."

According to Tami Morrison, director of connectivity for HostPro, aligning with Zyan will enable HostPro to deliver DSL with ample provisioning and installation, at lower costs.
