HomePage.com to Provide Hosted Home Page Application to Malaysian Internet Service Provider - Telekom Malaysia - Brief Article

HomePage.com announced that Telekom Malaysia's TMnet, a Malaysian ISP, has selected HomePage.com to be its exclusive provider of home page services. Under the terms of the agreement, HomePage.com will serve its hosted application within the TMnet Portal site, enabling users to easily build personal Web pages through HomePage.com's intuitive page building software.
"The HomePage 2.0 application enables consumers to personalize their own experience within the branded universe of the portal site," said Tim Cahill, CEO of HomePage.com.

TMnet Portal offers users access to a wide range of content spanning international and local news, arts and entertainment, business, and more. Through directories, community chat rooms, and links to other Malaysian Internet sites, TMnet Portal is the premier gateway to Malaysian lifestyle, society, and culture.
"HomePage.com's Web page building application will allow TMnet to offer its users a compelling and personalized on-line experience, thereby facilitating greater customer retention of TMnet's] users. We're excited to expand our service into the Pacific Rim."
Visitors to the TMnet Portal site will be able to quickly and easily set up their own web pages using HomePage.com's proprietary software. Among the HomePage 2.0 features are innovative Internet tools like Blueprint, a drag-and-drop tool that allows users, with no HTML knowledge, to create Web pages in a matter of minutes. Each user will have 10 MB of free disk space for their personal use with an easy-to-remember Web address under the TMnet Portal domain.
