Healthology Partners with EarthLink to Be ISP's Premier Health Related Video Webcast Provider - Internet service provider - Brief Article

ISP Business, April, 2001

Healthology Inc., the New York-based on-line health content producer and distributor of video Webcasts, has partnered with EarthLink to provide subscribers of the nation's second largest ISP with physician written and produced medical, surgical, and health-related content.

Through the new Health channel of their EarthLink Personal Start Page portal, EarthLink subscribers can now access Healthology's broad variety of health-related content in the form of video Webcasts and text articles. Healthology will offer the EarthLink's 4.7 million-plus subscribers a look into the surgical suite or imaging lab by providing their credible surgical, medical, and health information in a video format accessible through Healthology's proprietary media player.

"We are very excited about providing EarthLink's subscribers with our streaming video Webcasts and text articles produced and written by physicians and other health professionals," said Steven Haimowitz, MD, Healthology Inc.'s CEO and president. "EarthLink is the first ISP Healthology incorporated in its network. I can't think of too many topics on the Web in which having credible content is more important than healthcare. Our faculty of more than 13,000 physicians and healthcare professionals participate in our video Webcasts and author all of our articles."

Healthology and its physicians and other health professionals create credible, well-produced health-related content that is relevant to our subscribers' lives," said Erika Jolly, EarthLink's vice president of consumer products and services. "We can now provide them with quick and easy access to the medical Web casts produced and peer reviewed by Healthology's staff and faculty."
