Nortel Networks and STC Form Alliance to Deliver E-Business Integration Solutions

ISP Business, August, 2000

STC, a provider of e-business integration solutions, announced an alliance with Nortel Networks to support the pre-packaged STC e*Way for Clarify eFrontOffice.

Given it takes only seconds to lose a customer, companies are racing to integrate their customer relationship management (CRM) applications with existing systems to establish a single view of their customer base. This single comprehensive view, made possible by the STC e*Way, gives companies the intelligence to better service their customers -- without the added complexity or risk associated with a custom solution.

"Success in today's Internet economy is contingent on having a single view of the customer across all touch points of a company's business," said Harry Gould, vice president of global alliances for STC. "With specific support for integration to Nortel Networks Clarify eFrontOffice, STC enables real-time access to company and customer information' from disparate enterprise and legacy systems, making it possible for companies to respond more quickly to key market opportunities and to better service their customers' needs."

Enabling the integration of Nortel Networks Clarify eFrontOffice CRM and e-business solution with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP P13, Oracle Applications, and Peoplesoft, the e*Way also facilitates integration to legacy systems and ultimately provides for the seamless flow of information within and among enterprises. Built upon STC's flagship e-business integration platform, e*Gate Integrator, the e*Way can be deployed anywhere on the network, minimizing the impact to production systems and ERP applications which may already be in place.
