EarthLink Extends Strategy.com Services to its 3.7 Million Members - financial information service offered by EarthLink Network Incorporated - Brief Article

EarthLink, the nation's second largest Internet service provider, (ISP), will now provide its entire 3.7 million member base with access to Strategy.com services. The recent merger of EarthLink and MindSpring Enterprises in February 2000 added an additional 1.5 million customers to the EarthLink base. Now, through the personal start page on www.earthlink.net, all EarthLink customers can sign up to receive personalized, proactive alerts about various financial topics via mobile phones, pagers, and e-mail. Strategy.com is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MicroStrategy Inc.
Strategy.com offers detailed financial information including stock quotes, analyst recommendations, top gainers, top losers, stocks with the greatest volume, and quotes for the four major indexes. Customers can personalize the information they would like to receive and can choose to have it delivered through the communication device of their choice. For example, a customer can choose to receive an e-mail if analyst recommendations change for a stock in his portfolio or can receive a page if a stock drops by 15 percent.
