USA Domains Rolls Out Nationwide Internet Access to Over 1,800 US Cities - USA Domains Inc - Brief Article - Product Announcement

USA Domains Inc. announced that it will provide local dial-up access to the Internet in over 1,800 US cities, including New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, as part of the company's nationwide expansion.
As of August 1, 2000, more than 2,000 USA Domains points of presence (PoPs), which allow subscribers to access the Internet through a local call, had been established in the US and Canada. All subscribers have unlimited access to 56 Kbps modems.
The new national service, which is a value-added extension to USA Domain's current Web hosting offerings will be priced at a flat rate of $16.95 per month, and just $14.95 per month when bundled with any USA Domains hosting package. Subscribers to this service will enjoy unlimited usage, with no surcharges or limit on hours. In addition, newsgroup access is provided free of charge.
