IPWireless adds key New Zealand carrier to growing international customer base - International - Brief Article

Wireless Internet, Jan, 2002

IPWireless has finalized a three-year agreement with New Zealand-based telecommunications carrier, Walker Wireless. Walker will deploy the full IPWireless Advanced 3G broadband wireless solution throughout New Zealand, with an initial network deployment in Auckland.

The announcement follows the recent news that Craig Wireless International (based in Vancouver, Canada) has also chosen IPWireless for building out its broadband wireless solution. These carriers have selected IPWireless technology for its inherent advantages over other solutions in the industry, such as enabling the carrier to support rapid deployment of low-cost, easily installed wireless broadband. Another factor is that IPWireless' product can be used in portable, mobile, and fixed environments -- allowing users to gain Internet access anywhere there is available coverage.
