SignalSoft reduces workforce by thirty employees - Business - Brief Article

SignalSoft announced that the company plans to reduce its workforce of 265 by approximately 30 employees. The reductions will affect selected employees in Boulder, Colorado, and other company operations worldwide.

The company expects to report a related one-time charge for severance costs and outplacement services of approximately $350,000 for the fourth quarter of 2001. The company plans to discuss the effect of the staff reduction on future periods during its scheduled quarterly conference call on January 30, 2002.

In other news, SignalSoft announced that Don Winters, COO, would leave the company to pursue other interests. David Hose, president and CEO, will assume Winters' responsibilities.
