Comm Works, a 3Com company, is providing data network equipment for Verizon Wireless' 1XRTT Express Network. Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless communications provider in the United States, will use CommWorks technology to increase mobile data speeds on its nationwide Express Network, enabling consumers to experience a richer Internet experience while browsing on their 1XRTT-compatible wireless devices.
CommWorks' wireless data access technology makes the concept of "the Internet in your pocket" a reality. The company provides the core data network infrastructure to enable wireless data access and interaction in code division multiple access (CDMA) networks.
