Stet Hellas Announces Cooperation with Antenna on Content Distribution for the Mobile Internet

Wireless Internet, March, 2001

Stet Hellas Telecommunications SA and Antenna TV SA announced an agreement to provide infotainment services via the mobile Internet using both WAP and SMS platforms.

Through this agreement, Stet Hellas is adding another source of information to its portal. This new link gives all Stet Hellas customers access to continuously updated information such as the latest in news and sports, financial services, weather forecasts, lottery results and horoscopes.

Antenna is a media group in Greece. It owns and operates Antenna TV, a television broadcast network, distributing television programs in Greece as well as to Greek-speaking audiences in Cyprus, the US, Canada and Australia.

"Mobile and mass media will form the dominating medium of the New Economy, taking over from the traditional newspapers and magazines. The cooperation with Antenna is yet another proof of Stet Hellas' commitment to enrich the mobile services through strong key players in the Greek market," said Roberto Rovera, CEO of Stet Hellas.
