MAN Truck & Bus Blazes Trail with Kana's M-Business Application - UK. MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, Kana Communications - Brief Article - Product Announcement

Kana Communications announced the first B2B wireless applications protocol customer service application in the UK. MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd. has deployed Kana mBusiness, used in conjunction with its existing application, Kana Service, to handle breakdown service requests for MAN EuroService, MAN's in-house roadside assistance system. Kana mBusiness is a WAP customer service application that is part of the Kana eRM suite.

In the first phase of the project, Kana mBusiness enables drivers to log breakdown calls with the MAN EuroService call center using WAP technology. The second phase will give dealers, service engineers, and truck drivers access to all service information using WAP. This will allow them to track progress from breakdown through resolution, providing a more efficient service and increased customer satisfaction.
