Iodine: the once a century element

Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, June, 2004 by Phil Thomas

In 1944, shortly before his own passing, Mr. Cayce put together a string of perhaps 20 readings where he attempted to revise the idea. This time, instead of being administered orally, a vial of iodine was to be suspended in the battery solution of the Cayce Wet Cell, which was his primary device for addressing all degenerative disorders. The iodine vibration would then piggyback on top of the gold, camphor, or silver vibrations as they were being induced into the body. In this way the negative side effects from taking the raw form could be avoided. It was his last ditch effort at shedding some light on the concept which was at the core of his treatment program--in hopes that some future generation might be willing and able to take another look.

Sometime after I began delving into the Cayce readings on iodine I came across one that would ever alter my perspective on the nature of the human condition. Mr. Cayce stated that there are only four elements needed to sustain the physical body: water, salt, soda (or calcium carbonate--baking soda is half soda), and iodine. He goes on to say that if we have these four substances, presumably in sufficient and balanced proportions, then the body can generate everything else it needs. If this is true then I think it's fair to say that we can begin the process of releasing our collective notions about our inherent belief system. Granted, many people are resistant to the idea of relinquishing ingrained thought patterns which hold steadfastly to the conquest of the senses world. There is, nonetheless, an ever-growing movement pushing back to our connection with the Creative Force. It is this attunement which affords meaning in a seemingly meaningless world. This is the attunement we each seek while approaching the center within.

What's more, when the physical body resonates with the Creative Force it returns to the equalizing and/or expression of the soul along with the soul potential. Following this reasoning, if the glandular system is the seat of the soul, then iodine is the missing element which will shine light upon the path to endocrine stability, potentially guiding us on our way back home.
