Webinars: learning on the Internet. All you need are a PC and a phone line

RMA Journal, The, Sept, 2003

What are Webinars?

Webinars are Web-delivered, instructor-led training courses that offer several advantages over traditional classroom courses. All you need are an Internet connection and a telephone.

Webinars are:

* Cost efficient and convenient--there's no travel time, travel expenses, or time out of the office.

* Interactive--you can hear the instructor, ask questions, and receive instant feedback in real time, just as in a classroom setting.

* No risk--RMA records Webinars, so if you miss the session on the scheduled day, you have 30 days to "retake" the course at no extra charge. And you can go back and listen as often as you like within 30 days from the date of the session--at no extra charge.

* Safe and secure--only those enrolled in the course with the user ID and password can access the course Web site.
