Nortel Networks has launched the BCM 2.5 which is capable of delivering voice, data and advanced business applications for companies requiring up to 128 extensions on a single site, or a number of small systems interconnected to form a branch office network.

BCM 2.5 provides customers with support for up to 64 digital telephony devices, plus VoIP telephony for up to 64 users with Nortel Networks i2004 and i2050 internet telephones. VoIP trunk capabilities have also been extended, providing capacity for routing up to 60 simultaneous VoIP calls between branch offices over the wide area data network.
