Anritsu has added the MT8852A to its family of Bluetooth sets for design proving and production tests. The vendor says that the principal additional feature of the new unit is audio testing, which is 'fully compliant' with all functionality defined in the Bluetooth audio specification. Anritsu states that many organisations are now developing headsets, audio gateways and audio-visual products with Bluetooth interfaces. The company adds that the MT8852A offers a full Bluetooth audio test capability, supporting all three codec air interfaces ([micro]-law, A-law and CVSD) on up to three SCO audio channels.
