Netegrity: Identity affirmed
Information Age (London, UK), August 10, 2004
The task of managing user identity and access levels across different applications has become a minefield for most enterprises. As a result, a vast number of vendors have been rushing into the space from all corners of security software. That may explain why in Information Age's Advisory Series on Enterprise Security we neglected to profile one of the key industry players: Netegrity.
Sales of its SiteMinder, IdentityMinder and TransactionMinder products, have set Netegrity on an annual revenue run-rate of more than $100 million for 2004, allowing the company to justifiably lay claim to be the largest in its segment.
Look out for our article on 'Identity federation' - the secure propagation of identities across multiple enterprises - in the October issue of Information Age.
