We've enjoyed pulling together a great selection of ethical gifts and books for you--items that support the values of the NI. As far as possible, we have chosen products that are fairly-traded and made of organic, recycled, or nontoxic materials, and a range of books that provide an insightful angle on today's issues.

This year we've added two new T-shirts made with 100% organic cotton. These shirts are printed in Canada and made by American Apparel, a Los Angeles-based 'sweatshop-free' company committed to decent working conditions and fair wages for their 1300 employees. See page six for both of these exciting new designs.

If you're a cook--or just love eating--you will find plenty of inspiration for cooking with Fair Trade ingredients on page 13, including our fun new series, Chunky Cook Books.
