Two funds of value: intelligent stock selection and low PEs have helped Green Line Value and Bissett Canadian to above average returns

Mutual fund investors who seek value in Canadian stocks may want to consider the following two funds:
* Green Line Value Fund is a no-load fund that specializes in value stocks. The stocks held in the fund have a PE ratio of 18 as opposed to 23 for the TSE 300 index stocks. It has returned 35.7% for one year, 29.9% for two years and 20% for three years.
* Bissett Canadian Equity Fund also has a PE ratio of just 18. It has returned 34.1% for one year, 29.2% for two years, 20.8% for three years and 20.1% for five years. It is currently marketed as a front-end load fund.
Both these funds have been providing excellent returns to their investors by investing in quality stocks that are undervalued.
