Janet L. Allen

After serving for five years as superintendent of the Three Rivers, Mich., Community School District, Janet Allen has moved into the superintendency of the Willow Run Community Schools in Ypsilanti, Mich. Earlier, she was deputy superintendent in Jackson, Mich., and a principal in Walled Lake and Birmingham.

Jacqueline J. Beery

After four years as assistant superintendent, Jacqueline Beery was named superintendent of the Smith-Green Community School Corp. in Churubusco, Ind. Earlier Beery was business manager for Baugo Community Schools in Elkhart, Ind. She is immediate past president of the Indiana Association of School Business Officials.

George E. Cooke

Following a 2 1/2-year stint as superintendent in the Fleetwood, Pa., Area School District, George Cooke has assumed a new post as superintendent of the Plum Borough, Pa., School District. Cooke, 46, earlier was an assistant superintendent in the Indiana, Pa., Area Schools for 12 years. He also was an elementary school principal.

Fenwick W. English

The new dean of the School of Education at Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Ind., is Fenwick English. He previously served as a professor of educational administration at the University of Kentucky. Earlier, he was an associate director at AASA and helped develop AASA's National Curriculum Audit Center.

June M. Schaefer

The Marquette-Alger Intermediate School District in Michigan has a new superintendent, June Schaefer. She worked for 21 years as the district's director of special education and for five years as the district's curriculum resource specialist. Schaefer started her career as a teacher of students with disabilities.

Joseph E. Schneider

Joe Schneider has returned to Washington, D.C., to serve as senior associate executive director of AASA. He had been deputy executive director of the Southwest Regional Laboratory in Los Alamitos, Calif. Earlier, he directed the Washington-based Council for Educational Development and Research.
