W. Kent Hunsaker - People

The new executive director of the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators is Kent Hunsaker, who has worked since 1979 as a district superintendent. He most recently spent 16 years running the 5,100-student Bethel, Ore., schools. Earlier he was superintendent of the Creswell and Yamhill districts, both in Oregon, and a junior high school principal.
Hunsacker started as a mathematics teacher in Oakridge, Ore. He is the reigning Oregon Superintendent of the Year.
