Ohio school leader Doug Garman has been elected president of the Association of Educational Service Agencies. Garman is the superintendent of the Wood County Educational Service Center in Bowling Green, Ohio, a post he has held for 12 years. He has worked as a teacher, supervisor, director and assistant superintendent in Wood County over the past 30 years. He will lead AESA, which represents intermediate agencies in 44 states, through the end of the 2007-08 school year. Garman holds a doctorate in educational administration and supervision from Bowling Green State University.
