Biggest Blooper: After listening to Lee Iacocca talk at an AASA convention about teamwork, I decided to recommend lengthening the workday for certified staff by one hour to provide more time for collaboration. When I was out of the district on an accreditation visit, about 400 staff met with board members to discuss my idea. I withdrew it at the next board meeting.

A Reason Why I'm an AASA Member: AASA provides excellent opportunities for networking with fellow administrators and learning about leadership.
