Tolerance Institute - Bits and Pieces - Brief Article

A summer institute for educators on teaching tolerance, sponsored by Annenberg/CPB Channel, will be held July 20-27 in Atlanta, Ga.
Twenty-five educators will be selected to participate at no charge. The purpose is to improve the teaching of history by exposing participants to recent scholarship about the civil rights movement and modeling different ways of encouraging active learning.
