After 6 1/2 years as superintendent in St. Lucie County, Fla., during which time he was named state superintendent of the year, Bill Vogel has moved into the top berth of the Seminole County, Fla., system. Previous to his St. Lucie superintendency, Vogel worked for 22 years in Osceola County, Fla., as deputy superintendent, assistant superintendent for personnel, professional development and administrative services and director of student services.
He holds a doctorate from Florida Atlantic University.
