Classroom Champs - Brief Article
School Administrator, March, 1996
Across Idaho this school year, high schools are competing for state championships both on the playing fields and in the classrooms.
The state's first academic state champions were crowned recently in football and volleyball for accumulating the highest cumulative grade point averages. Glenns Ferry High School won state tides in both sports in its classification as volleyball team members recorded a 3.74 CPA and football players attained a 3.29 average.
The awards are sponsored by the United Dairymen of Idaho and the Idaho High School Activities Association.
