What is being touted as the nation's first-of-its-kind educational leadership park soon may become a reality in a community best known as home to Michigan State University.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association is taking the lead on the planning of a 16-acre site that would serve as home to itself and four other statewide education groups, including the Michigan Association of School Administrators and the Michigan Association of School Boards.

Further planning awaits approval of the four associations' governing boards.
