Membership
While the association's total membership declined slightly in 1995, a new senior associate executive director for membership services and professional development has been hired and an aggressive, customer-oriented membership recruitment and retention plan will be put into place.
Market research will be initiated to tell us more about our members, potential members, and their needs, and AASA's diverse programs, publications, and services will be planned accordingly.
AASA will continue to target superintendents and central-office personnel and will concentrate special promotions on new superintendents, women, and minorities.
