Thomas B. Maher

Following a 4 1/2-year stint as superintendent in Lancaster, Ohio, Tom Maher has returned to Florida to take over the superintendent's position of the 16,500-student Indian River County School District in Vero Beach. During the 1990s, Maher worked in various administrative posts in two Florida school systems, Hernando County and Citrus County.

He is a former educational policy fellow through the Institute of Educational Leadership in Washington, D.C.
