Biggest Blooper: My doctorate is from the University of Texas at Austin so when a colleague entered an Ed.D. program at arch-rival Texas A&M, I one day referred to his program as a "Fisher Price Ph.D." Word got back to the deputy superintendent, my supervisor at the time, who also was in the A&M program. Needless to say, she was not amused.
