AASA relaunches SUPER-LIST - In Action - American Association of School Administrators electronic networking - Brief Article
School Administrator, May, 2002
Would you like a quick, easy way to network with colleagues in other school communities across the country?
If so, now's a great time to join SUPER-LIST, the recently upgraded electronic forum (also known as a listserv or e-mail discussion list) run by AASA.
The SUPER-LIST is intended primarily for school superintendents and central-office administrators. All you need to "subscribe" is an e-mail address.
So how does it work? When you want to solicit opinions or share an observation, you send your e-mail message to the SUPER-LIST address. Your message is sent via e-mail to every person who has subscribed to the SUPER-LIST.
And how can you subscribe? Simply send an e-mail to listserv@listserver.aasa.org leaving the subject line blank. In the body of the message, type: subscribe super-list your full name (e.g., subscribe super-list Jane Smith).
Once your request to subscribe is granted, you will receive a welcome message, a basic set of instructions and rules on listserv etiquette.
If you have any questions about SUPER-LIST, contact Jay P. Goldman (jgoldman@aasa.org) or Amy Schonfeld (aschonfeld@aasa.org).
It's a great way to network. We hope you'll join.
