Robert K. Berger

The Alsip, Hazelgreen and Oak Lawn School District 126 in Alsip, Ill., has a new superintendent in Robert K. Berger. He previously was director of special education for the Grundy County Special Education Cooperative in Morris, Ill. Berger also served as director of special education in Palos Heights, Ill., where he was a principal.

Katie Brochu

After 12 years with Sumter County Public Schools in Americus, Ga., the past seven as superintendent, Katie Brochu has moved into the top berth of York, S.C., School District 1. She earlier served as assistant superintendent for instruction in Sumter County. Brochu is a past Georgia Superintendent of the Year.

Michael G. Jacobsen

Weber School District in Ogden, Utah, has a new superintendent in Michael Jacobsen. He served for seven years as superintendent in Provo, Utah, after moving to Utah in 1987 to assume the top job in Tooele County. Earlier, he was the superintendent in New Plymouth, Idaho, and an administrator for Saudi Arabian International Schools.

Victor Rossetti

Victor Rossetti is the new superintendent of Germantown, Wis., School District. He earlier worked as superintendent of the Prairie du Chien, Wis., Area Schools for six years, superintendent in Middle Township, N.J., for three years and superintendent in Oconto Falls, Wis., for six years. Rossetti also has been an administrator in Lynbrook, N.Y.

Guy M. Sconzo

After an 11-year tenure in the Oklahoma City Public Schools, including a recent stint as interim superintendent, Guy Sconzo has moved into the Humble, Texas, Independent School District as superintendent. Sconzo had served Oklahoma City in various capacities, including assistant superintendent for educational services.

Stan Sibley

Stan Sibley has moved into the superintendent's job with the Glenwood, Iowa, Community Schools. Sibley came to Iowa after 15 years in Nebraska, where he served as superintendent in Valley, Neb. He also has worked as director of general administration and coordinator of government relations in the Omaha, Neb., Public Schools.
